On the 13th and 14th of January, the students, teachers and parents had an energetic, exhilarating and exciting night with robots in the ICT Open Night.
In the ICT Department, in room IT2, the budding programmers and the budding programmers and their teachers put on a show by coding in Scratch and by controlling robotic cars using programming. Organized and managed by our brilliant ICT teachers and students, it was truly a spectacular endeavour to be part of.
On the 14th of January, I was selected to assist the visitors in operating robotic cars along with a few of my friends. Sounds exciting, doesn’t it? Let me tell you, it was the most magical experience to watch the cars rush forward and do tricks- all powered by coding. Visitors couldn’t get over how simple the cars were to operate and enjoyed experimenting with them. “This is so cool! They’re moving so fast!” said some ecstatic P7s after they used the cars.
