On the 25th of February, students on the Single-award track of science faced off against their biology GCSE to gain a high grade in their class.
The GCSE was hosted in the school hall where students took on the grueling, yet rewarding test to see if they were able to move on to A levels. Ms. Mullan, Mr. McAllister, and Ms. McAllister were all involved in the implementation of this back-breaking challenge, although it will be decided through the external channels of the exam board to see if they are the scientific superstars we know they are.
Luckily for everyone (students mostly) involved, the exams for other subjects will be split into intervals and won’t be looming over students until near the end of the term - only haunting them in their nightmares.
Another blessing is that coursework will not be included in the testing period, but will be later on in the year, so look out!
In conclusion, the battle up-hill and back, also known as the Biology GCSE tested the wits, smarts and knowledge that students have collected over the years at Blessed Trinity College.
We wish them every luck with their results!
