On the 13th and 14th of January the Drama Department collaborated with the Music Department to make a Broadway experience unlike any other.

In the Drama studios, people gathered in the masses to witness a spectacular show performed by the Drama department’s stars in the making, creating a factory of fantasy unlike any other. Organised by the Department’s lead teacher Miss McCrory and co-assisted by Miss Gilmartin, Miss Anderson, and Miss McErlean who defied the gravity of parental expectations.

Backstage our actors could be found rehearsing, discussing, and eating lots of chocolate bars to be one of the lucky winners. The actors made our audiences laugh along with every sugar coated joke, and perhaps join in on our childish joke of 67. A parent viewing on Wednesday stated, “it was so good that my daughter wanted to come back to see it again!” Our cast had the time of their lives like marshmallows in hot cocoa.

By the end of the night, though the actors and teachers alike were tired, they were satisfied and proud of the show they put on, the night they had, and the fabulous families they got to entertain. Lizzy Neilly, who played Augustus, said, "it was the best night of my life. I couldn't imagine doing anything else but act... it was so exhilarating!"
